Lord, You
are the faithful God. You give us Your promises. You keep Your promises.
You never go back on Your Word. You always stand by the Word that You
have spoken. Your promises come to us from the past. They lead us on
into Your future. What a wonderful future You are planning for us. We
thank You for Jesus' great promise: "I go to prepare a place for you"
(John 14:2). Help us to receive His Word, to rejoice in His promise, to
be renewed by His love.
