You
call us, Lord, to return to You. You promise to welcome us (2
Chronicles 30:9). Where does our returning come from? Where does our
rejoicing come from? They both come from You. You put it into our hearts
- to return to You (2 Chronicles 30:12). What joy there is for us when
we return to You - "The good Lord pardons every one who sets his heart
to seek God" (2 Chronicles 30:18-19).
