‘The
Lord will save me, and we will sing with stringed instruments all the
days of our life in the House of the Lord’ (Isaiah 38:20). Lord, we hear
many people saying, ‘I can be a Christian without going to Church.’
You’re teaching us something very different. You’re showing us that
believing in You leads to worshipping You.. It doesn’t make sense. for
us, to say, ‘I believe in You, Lord’ but I’m not interested in
worshipping You.’ We believe in Jesus. He has saved by us. We Have
received a new Spirit of worship: ‘God has sent the Spirit of His Son
into our hearts, crying, “Father, my Father!”’ (Galatians 4:4). Help us,
Lord, never to rest content with being believers without also being
worshippers.
